As a therapist, I am dedicated to guiding clients through the challenging yet deeply rewarding process of self-reflection and personal growth. With patience and sustained effort, counseling can help you enhance your communication skills, set healthy boundaries, and learn effective strategies for managing distressing or overwhelming emotions.

My clinical approach is integrative, drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, feminist, attachment, and systems theories to understand each person within the context of their background, relationships, environment, and culture. Together, we will collaboratively process trauma and distress, uncover and shift unhelpful patterns in behavior and communication, and build tools for emotional regulation and overall well being. My approach also incorporates trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral interventions to ensure that care is both holistic and practical.

A central priority in my work is nurturing pride and responsibility in oneself and one’s community. In this way, the therapeutic space becomes both a learning environment and a place of healing, where we can work together to reflect on the influences that shape wellbeing and develop strategies for self-acceptance and personal growth. I believe that cultivating awareness of our connections with others is a crucial component of the therapeutic process that naturally promotes resilience, encourages community bonding, and strengthens our systems of mutual support—key elements of psychological health.
